What version of the LSB should I use?

Tagged with LSB
Printer-friendly version

The version of the LSB you choose depends on which version of Linux you are interested in having your application run on.

This page contains a list of Linux distributions and their LSB certification/compliance status. The Linux Foundation makes this list available to assist software developers and ISVs in deciding which version of the LSB they should target. The LSB provides strict backward compatiblity beginning with LSB 3.0, so targeting version X.Y of the LSB will allow your applications to run on distributions certified to or compliant with LSB version X.Y and newer. Note that distributions listed as planned represents our current understanding of distribution vendors' plans and is subject to change without notice at any time. For a list of only LSB Certified distributions, please see our directory of LSB certified products.
